How to Get to The University of Warwick
The University of Warwick lies on the outskirts of Coventry, at the very heart of England and is easily accessible by road, rail and air.

By Air
Birmingham International Airport is approximately 30 minutes by taxi (approx. 13 miles) and will cost around £26.00. A frequent train service runs to Coventry from Birmingham International station, adjacent to the airport. For more information please visit www.birminghamairport.co.uk.

1 hour from Nottingham East Midlands Airport, 2 hours from Luton Airport and 15 minutes from Coventry Airport.

By Road

From the North
From the M69/M6 interchange (M6 Jct 2) take A46 towards Warwick and Coventry S & E. After approximately 3.5 miles you will reach Tollbar End roundabout (junction with A45). At the roundabout, follow signs for A45 Birmingham. After approximately 3 miles you will cross the A429 (Kenilworth Road). Half a mile after this junction, take the left-hand turn sign posted 'University of Warwick'. Follow signs for University of Warwick (and Warwick Arts Centre) across two roundabouts. You are now approaching the University of Warwick from Kirby Corner Road.

From the South East
From M45 Jct 1 take A45 towards Coventry. After approximately 7 miles you will reach Tollbar End roundabout (junction with A46) follow signs for A45 Birmingham. Now follow directions as for arriving from the North

From the South
From M40 Jct 15 take A46 towards Coventry. After approximately 8 miles, leave the A46 at the junction signposted 'University of Warwick and Stoneleigh.' After a further 1.5 miles you will cross the A429 (Kenilworth Road). You are now approaching the University of Warwick from Gibbet Hill Road.

From the West
From M42 Jct 6 take A45 towards Coventry. After approximately 9 miles you will pass a large Sainsbury store on your left. At the next roundabout (Fire Station on right) take the right-hand exit, signposted 'University and Canley'. Follow signs for University of Warwick (and Warwick Arts Centre) across two roundabouts. You are now approaching the University of Warwick from Kirby Corner Road.

Route Planning
You can use the AA Route Planner just enter CV4 7AL in ‘To (end of your journey)’ There is free parking available at the conference car parks at the University. Please note that not all car parks are adjacent to your registration and accommodation areas.

By Rail
Coventry Intercity station is the nearest station and only four miles from the University. The Euston service runs half-hourly with an approximate journey time of 70 minutes. Services to Birmingham International and Birmingham New Street are frequent throughout the day.

There is a large taxi rank at Coventry station. Alternatively, a regular bus service runs to the centre of the campus - Travel West Midlands 12 or 12a, or Stagecoach X10 or X12 bus from the Warwick Road Bus Stop (which is signposted from the station).

By Bus
Mega Bus (www.megabus.com) operate services between London and Coventry from £5 - £10 return. The bus stops at Hales Street in Coventry. Alternatively for further destinations try National Express (www.nationalexpress.com) which stops at Coventry Pool Meadow Bus Station.
