Welcome
We are pleased to announce that the next joint meeting of the British Societies for Cell and Developmental Biology will take place at the University of Warwick from 31st March – 3rd April 2008. The meeting will celebrate the development and advances of cell research and creates a great opportunity to bring together a wide range of skills, techniques and debate for the advancement of research.
The British Society for Cell Biology is a long established society set up to promote the
study of Cell Biology. It has around 1500 active members in the UK and abroad. The BSCB’s
contribution to the meeting features the Hooke Medal Lecture, plenary sessions, student

BSDB’s contribution to the meeting features the Beddington Medal Lecture, the Waddington
